About Kimberly Barr
Kimberly is a multi-award winning Interior Designer. She has been in the design business since 2001, after earning her degree in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Philadelphia. Since then, she’s been working in many different areas of Interior Design.
Kimberly has always been extremely passionate about Interior Design. She grew up with a grandmother who was a decorator and owned an antique store, and her grandfather was an artist and master carpenter who re-finished antique furniture as a hobby.
Kimberly started to enjoy decorating, quality furniture, and understanding fabrics and patterns at a young age. She also has a love for all things handmade, vintage decor, and furniture restoration. When she’s not designing, she spends her free time with her husband and three children traveling, exploring, and spending time in the great outdoors.
Kimberly has signature style of balancing color, patterns, vintage, antique, and modern decor to give each home a special touch of life. She also has a unique way of creating functional designs to give every room a perfectly composed purpose.
Every client is different, but Kimberly understands individual needs and style. She can work with you to create great spaces that reflect your unique style.
“She did not disappoint.”
We engaged Kimberly to redesign our new construction pantry and mudroom and she did not disappoint. We wanted a farmhouse design and she nailed it - shiplap, barn door, etc. Kimberly is very easy to work with, provided great visuals and was involved from design phase through project completion
“We have been extremely happy!”
She really took the time to understand and respect our style, while helping us to also push those boundaries a little with items we may have not chosen otherwise...but absolutely love! I highly recommend Kimberly Barr for your interior design.
